Seymour Road

Seymour Road is a residential artery of Wimbledon with various shapes and sizes of homes. It is a quiet and friendly place to live where neighbours know each other, surrounded by the greenery of private gardens and public parks. This project transforms this corner detached house and adjusts it to the family’s needs. This includes the transformation of the underused loft; the reconditioning of the staircase taking into consideration its vertical window which brings sunlight into the heart of the building; and the introduction of a feature Peter-Pan-like window as a place for quietness and reflection, from where the family can simply cuddle with a blanket and appreciate the landscape.
